Since becoming a mum I get very little time to myself (as expected) and being at the beach is my happy place, come rain or shine!
A walk along the beach with a podcast on helps me totally clear my head and reset which is why I started Beachcombing!
In 2022 whilst on holiday in Spain I came across some seaglass, after doing some research on how seaglass became ‘seaglass’ I started collecting pieces and when back in England would seek out nearby beaches for seaglass.
I started to build quite a collection so decided I needed to do something with it all so looked into Seaglass Art! After a couple of weeks research, out came my Diploma in Art & Design and I found that making the pieces was just as relaxing as beachcombing.
I do not ‘buy in’ seaglass to get unusual colours and I do not adjust any of the glass I find to make it work for specific pieces of art.
